NWH Gamma Knife Specialists
The Gamma Knife Center at Northern Westchester Hospital (NWH) is home to a team of experienced gamma knife specialists who are dedicated to providing you with exceptional medical care in order to achieve the best possible outcomes for your condition.
The NWH Gamma Knife Center team includes board-certified neurosurgeons, radiation oncologists, radiation physicists, neuro-radiologists, oncologists, neurologists, registered nurses, and radiation therapists who work collaboratively to evaluate your eligibility for treatment with the Gamma Knife Perfexion.
As part of our assessment process, our gamma knife specialists will consult with your referring physician, oncologist, neurologist, or other physicians as needed, and conduct a thorough review of your medical history and records. We will require copies of all previous imaging studies such as MRI, CT, and/or PET scans. Candidates for the gamma knife procedure are selected based on their suitability and likelihood of achieving a positive outcome from the treatment.
